A dedication and official naming ceremony of our Jostad Gym Press Box to the "Dellas Cole Press Box" will take place at the BHS vs Huron BB doubleheader on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at approximately 7:30 PM (immediately following the end of the girl's varsity BB game). The Dellas "DC" Cole Press Box is in honor and memory of Dellas Cole, the Voice of the Bobcats for nearly 40 years. Dellas' sustained and long lasting contribution to the Brookings School District many never be equaled, and his dedication to the Bobcats may go unmatched. He was an important figure in helping shape Bobcat activities from the 1980s through 2022, and the history of all Bobcat activities and teams remained present because Dellas was there to share it. Dellas was a true professional, building relationships with staff, students, and families over the years, while combining his two loves: Broadcasting and the Bobcats.
