BHS Theater Presents: Alice in Wonderland!
Exciting news from the BSD Foundation- we have partnered with BHS to raffle the sheds built by the construction trades class!
The Brookings School District is thrilled to announce the launch of our Early Learning program next fall. We will provide Pre-K and Extended Enrichment services from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Pre-K programming, is offered as half-day services onsite at the Brookings School District. For those who wish to extend their child's time in the program, the Boys and Girls Club will offer Extended Enrichment programming at the three elementary schools for an additional fee.

Due to ACT testing we are pushing the start times for this Saturday's softball games FROM 11:00 and 1:00 TO 3:00 (varsity) and 5:00 (JV)
Make-Up Snow Day: April 29, 2024
Brookings County is still under a No-Travel Advisory through the overnight. BSD will consequently be two hours late on Wednesday, 3/27.
BSD will be closed on Tuesday 3/26.
BSD will have a two-hour late start on Tuesday, 3-26. Snow has stopped, but another system is approaching from Nebraska and will provide additional snow overnight. Snow and high winds will lead to difficult conditions in the morning.
We will reevaluate conditions in the AM.
Due to the weather and field conditions, the softball game between Brookings and Brandon Valley originally scheduled for this Thursday (March 28) in Brandon, has been POSTPONED. At this time no make-up date has been determined.
Due to forecasted weather, the Suicide Prevention Film & Panel that was scheduled for Monday, March 25th is postponed until Monday, April 15th from 6:30-8 PM in the BHS Bell Auditorium.

Calendar Update for Medary and Hillcrest:
The last day of school for learners in both schools will now be May 15. This change accommodates the construction and demolition schedule, which is deemed beneficial to keeping the project on track.
