The Brookings City Clerk’s Office announces its first “I Voted” sticker design contest to be used for the April 8 Combined Municipal / School Board Election. The contest is open to all youth 18 years of age and younger who reside within the City of Brookings. All entries must be submitted by noon Friday, Feb. 28. Designs must contain the phrase “I Voted” on a 2-inch circular design, be original designs, be non-partisan, and must not include any copyright images, trademarks or artificial intelligence. | END 2/28 |
Congratuations to all the students that represented MMS at Chapter Mathcounts Competition yesterday. The team (consisting of Charlie Butzin, Shinji Numata, Timothy Jin, and Rayaan Ahmad placed 2nd, which advances those 4 students to the State Competition in March. Individually, Charlie Butzin placed 1st overall, Timothy Jin placed 4th, Shinji Numata placed 6th, and Sanhita Tummala placed 13th. | |
